What do you do?

I am a Psychic Tarot Consultant/ Reader. I am a ‘sensitive’ and have mediumship skills, which means that sometimes during a reading I receive messages from the Spirit world. However this does not happen all the time and should not be expected. Please note, I am not telepathic and I cannot read your mind!  

How do I book a tarot consultation or healing appointment?

To avoid disappointment or an unnecessary journey, a pre-arranged appointment is essential. I cannot accommodate clients who call unexpectedly, either in person or over the phone, looking for an on-the-spot Tarot Consultancy. Please contact me to book via email or phone (see my contact page).  

Do I need to prepare for my reading?

A Tarot Consultancy Reading is a two-way process. To make the most of your reading, it’s useful to think about what questions you’d like answered. I will clarify this throughout the reading. This means that we can be straight to the point and get the most out of the reading and cards will yield more information and be specific. General readings are always available, but please bear in mind that a general reading can produce ‘general answers’.   Open ended questions work best – for example: ‘will I ever get a new partner’ is a yes/no question. We could rephrase this by asking “what can I do to help me find a new partner?” and then “when is it likely I will get a new partner“.  

How does the Tarot work? Consider Tarot as a Sat Nav in a car! Just like a navigation system, it can inform you what is coming up on your life journey thus allowing you to make considered decisions about your options. Ultimately it is up to you what route you choose to take – the cards cannot make you do anything you don’t want to do.   

Is the tarot evil or do particular cards always mean bad things?

Every card in the tarot deck can have a positive or negative meaning, depending on what questions are asked and where the card sits in the spread. If you see a card in your reading which may look worrying, please say! I will explain what this means for you and your reading. The cards are not evil, or dangerous or bad luck. Tarot is an interpretive tool to help you, should you choose to use it.  

I have some awkward/embarrassing questions to ask, are you going to judge me?

I treat all clients equally and with respect. I am open-minded, honest and non-judgmental. If appropriate, I may suggest that clients consult a qualified professional. (e.g. health or legal professional).  

Is everything the tarot tells me set in stone?

A Tarot Reading is not absolute as you have free will. As a Tarot Reader, I will offer my opinion and guidance, but will not interfere with the free will of the client. Any decisions made or actions taken by you, the client are your sole responsibility.  

Will you share my reading with anyone else?

All readings are in confidence between the client and myself. All Readings are completely private and confidential. I will not share them or your details with a third-party*.  

When do I pay you?

When a fee is due, the amount will be agreed prior to the reading and should be settled before the reading.  

Who will you read for and do you ever refuse a reading or refuse to read about specific subjects?

If at any time I feel unable to complete a reading, I will withdraw tactfully. Readings will not knowingly be given to clients aged under 18 years without permission from their parent or guardian. Readings cannot be given about anyone other than the client, and questions relating to others (e.g. third parties, such as partners, family members, colleagues, etc.) will be re-phrased or declined.

*During a reading, if I believe that the client is a danger/risk to either themself or someone around them, I have a duty to report this to the police.
